About a decade ago, our firm designed and built the original home on this property. At the time, the owners elected to use a side yard for outdoor living, leaving the backyard, with its fifteen-foot slope, untouched. Recently, the house sold and the new owners sought more privacy than the side yard could offer. They wanted a fun, light-hearted structure for entertaining, complemented by a pool/spa area, and a new family room addition to the main house. The goal was to add these new spaces while ensuring that they felt consistent with the character of the existing house.

We’re fortunate to collaborate with these amazing clients, who appreciated the original home and wanted to further expand its beauty, and then to see their new space recognized and celebrated.
